I use a variety of self taught techniques to create abstract paintings that mimic things we see in nature like stone, petrified wood, satellite views, exploding stars, lava and images in a microscope.
The paintings are created on professional wood panels with acrylic mediums. Once the paint dries I apply a thick layer epoxy resin. With my 3D series I incorporate original handmade resin sculptures to the painting.
